I have Broadband, but am having problems streaming the 600k videos?
If you have an Internet connection of greater than 1mb, but experience a lot of buffering when viewing the 600k stream, the problem is most likely to be caused by network congestion over your ISP connection. You can test out the current download bandwidth available to you using one of the following links: Bandwidth place Speed Test
Bandwidth Test UK Broadband Speed Test (downloadable)
Download Bandwidth Test The results of these tests need to be around 450kbits/s in order to successfully stream the 300k 'Low' videos and need to be around 750kbits/s in order to successfully stream the 600k 'High' videos. Please take into account fluctuations in local bandwidth and other connections open on your PC. Please contact your Broadband provider directly to resolve these issues.
Audio will play but video won't, or video will play but audio won't?
Make sure that your computer has a sound card to play the audio and your audio levels are turned up. If you do have a sound card, the content that is being played probably uses compression software that is not installed on your computer. To make sure that you have the necessary software that is currently supported, reinstall Windows Media Player. To do so, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
Windows Media Download This issue may also occur if there is not enough bandwidth to play both audio and video. You may receive sound even though the video is not present because audio requires less available bandwidth.
What do I do if my download has "Timed Out"?
If your live video stream indicates that it has "Timed Out" then it may just have been a temporary interruption in the connection. You can resume the stream by clicking on the event link again. If you continue to have trouble please contact us.
Why can't I view the match from another PC?
Digital Rights Management (DRM) is used to view the match which means that a video streaming feed is licensed to a PC. Therefore, it will only work on a PC that is logged-on to a valid account. If you e-mail/text the link to another machine, it will simply not work. You will receive the following advisory message: This match has been accessed from another computer using your account details. The live stream for a match may only be played on one computer using any given account.
My PC complains about pop up blocking issues?
Your computer is currently blocking pop-up windows, which means you cannot watch the match. Pop-ups are small windows that are launched by the page you are looking at and may contain advertising or other information. These can be blocked from appearing by third-party software such as the Yahoo! and Google toolbars, Zone Alarm and Norton products and if you are running XP with MS Service Pack 2 installed. If your browser is blocking all pop-ups you will be unable to open the media player. Allowing pop-up windows for the website you are trying to access will allow you to take advantage of all the features of this website.Below are instructions on how to do this with the three major blockers; if you have a different one it will probably be similar to one of these:
Yahoo! Toolbar
The Yahoo! toolbar with the blocker (circled) means it is enabled. Click the button when you are on our website and pop-ups be allowed.
Google Toolbar
The Google toolbar is very similar to Yahoo!. Clicking on the circled button when you are on our website and pop-ups be allowed.
MS Service Pack 2 (XP)
MS Service Pack 2's blocker is not a toolbar but a new feature of your browser. When it detects a pop-up the yellow banner below appears at the top of your window: Clicking shows a menu where you can choose to permanently allow pop-ups for our website.
